Describing Yourself On Your Resume

What you accomplished is more important than what you “did”.

Instead of a dull job description that states, “Worked effectively to turn in quarterly reports on time,” add details and why your work mattered or what it accomplished.

Try this:

“Produced 12 consecutive quarterly, timely, business analysis reports that helped our product development team pivot and turn a recurring loss into a 130% YoY growth ($2.2 mil now in AR).”
