The Golden Rule: Keep your resume to one page!
But, you might ask, “what if my life is just so interesting and I need multiple pages in order to include everything?”
You’re probably right! But, nobody is going to read beyond a page. Only include the most relevant details/items for the job to which you’re applying and keep your resume to one page!
Also, don’t include large blocks of text in order to fit it all on one page. Again, run an inventory of your life experience and think, “what is the most relevant?”
Maintain a clean and organized aesthetic and make a hiring manager want to read your resume!
