The Plan

You are required to either build a flowchart or create an initial system outline. Either document (or if you are feeling ambitious, do both!) should demonstrate that you understand the structure of the business and how it should fit into Zoho. It should answer the following questions:

  • What is the client journey?
  • Who is in control or managing each part of the flow?
  • What types of automated communication/actions do we need to set up?
  • How does Zoho fit into or run that process?
  • What kinds of data are you collecting and where is it stored?

Show us that you took notes during your interview! A solid plan makes for a much easier build. By constructing a flowchart or an initial system outline, you’ll be prepping for life as a consultant or admin, where you will also need to listen to problems and needs, architect and design solutions, and then present a cohesive plan of attack (for how to build it in Zoho).
