Using Signer Fields in Mail Merge Templates
- Information like contact name, deal size, etc. can be merged into the contract
- But, Signer Fields cannot be merged, because they depend on the signee
- We do not know the date they will sign it and of course, you can’t sign for them. These are signer fields
- Signer fields are default mandatory but you can reverse that
- When the contract is sent out, the signee is prompted to input information into all signer fields
