In this video for example, we have reports from the Leads, Contacts, and Deals modules. We would expect a filter of “Lead Status” to only filter the reports built exclusively on the Leads module, but that’s not the case. Because the Leads module is actually tied to Contacts, Accounts, and Deals, that user filter acts on all components in this dashboard.
Likewise, if you have reports built on reports from Zoho Books and the CRM, a user filter from one app will not affect reports from the other. A few things to think about as you’re designing your dashboards and filters!
