Make Every Chart Count!
Before we jump into working with charts, remember this:
“Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should!”

As you become more and more comfortable with Analytics, it will be tempting to just throw all sorts of charts together haphazardly because—all the pretty colors! And it’s so easy….
No! That is not good practice.
Graphs and charts lose their value when there are too many or when they all tell the same story or they are not straightforward or intuitive. Your value as a data analyst increases when you can present the facts simply, quickly, and elegantly.
If you can tell the same story with 3 charts instead of 10, why not?!
So, as we work through this course, also pay attention to when these charts could be useful. But, just because you can build it doesn’t mean you should.
