When a payment is received, we’re going to update a date field on the customer’s record called “Last Payment Received”. We’ll then sync that to CRM, which will help us to segment our customer base by how frequently they pay.
Again, this is an Intro course, so we won’t follow this all the way through, but there are a TON of cool additions to a function like this.
What if you had a function that did something similar, except it counted ALL of each customer’s transactions and the average transaction value? And then updated every Customer’s Contacts with that data? AND updated the corresponding CRM contacts?
We’d be able to easily segment your email list and reporting by average customer value!
Make sure to note that you could also accomplish our sample function in Zoho Flow. HOWEVER, you can’t even SNIFF the follow-up function in Zoho Flow.
THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO GIT GUD AT DELUGE!
