When To Use the Out-of-the-Box CRM Migration Tool

If your setup is pretty simple, then use this tool. If, in SalesForce, you use all the default modules (Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Notes, Tasks, etc.) and don’t have other complex configuration, then consider using this tool,

• (i.e. not super often, and only very intelligently when you’ve confirmed that its limitations won’t gimp your entire migration)
• Generally only when you have a big ZIP file of a bunch of CSVs with existing lookup relationships
