The term “Customer Success” is relatively new (last 20 years or so) — it simply means building better relationships with your customers so that they stick around and keep buying from you.
Some of the main principles of Customer Success:
- “Riffing” during Needs Analyses with business owners/executives
- Helping identify pain points in their customer lifecycle
- Obsessing over helping customers grow their businesses
- Making plans to help customers overhaul their customer lifecycle
