Dream up your own business. It must have at least 3 tiers of employees, who will all view different levels of data and perform different operations.
Draw out this hierarchy in a flowchart. Specify the different Profiles and Roles. Now, remember that Profiles and Roles are different. Roles have more to do with permission to view and share data while Profiles determine permissions to perform different system actions.
So, draw it out in a flowchart. Describe the different permissions of each level of profile and how different roles or teams might be set up. Could someone else looking at your flowchart understand the permissions structure of your business?
