Alternatives to Custom Modules: Subforms

Subforms are a little tough — you need to a be a sharp Deluge developer and have a handle on custom buttons/automations from other modules or Zoho apps for subforms to work optimally.

• They do, however, work well for manual entry.
• They can have 8 fields, no user lookups.
• If you need something to trigger off of a new subform entry, we can’t—all automation surrounding them has to come through Deluge scripting.

Don’t worry too much about these until you have more practice with the CRM.
